Built with an integral rear rack, the rear triangle was wire brushed and left as bare stainless steel.

Another colour combination I wasn’t sure about, but it works really well – a simple build, with an Ivory frame and a red Rohloff hub.

This bike has a polished nickel frame (a lot of work, I’m not doing that again!), with black extremities.

This black Brompton has an integral back rack, Rohloff gearing, Hope hydraulic disc brakes, and a larger 60t chainring.

Built with a repainted frame because Brompton don’t make white bikes any more.

This Rohloff Brompton destined for Singapore has a raw lacquer frame, with the rear triangle powdercoated to match, and Cinq5 gear shifters.

A few months ago, someone gave me their old Brompton – the main frame was solid, but everything else was worn out and broken. So I repainted it and rebuilt it with a selection of new and surplus parts, and I auctioned it for charity – it raised £700 for Medicins Sans Frontiers.

This Brompton got a Rohloff hub in a brushed stainless steel rear triangle, and a Hope cartridge bearing headset.

This bike was built with a custom-painted gloss green and black frame, red Rohloff hub and SON dynamo, and a red Edelux front light. It’s also got Hope hydraulic disc brakes, riser bars, and a few other extras.
