With the launch of the new Brompton 20″ G-Line, I’ve put together a table comparing the G-Line to the MTBrompton. I’ve also added a comparison with an 18″ Brompton, because I think that is actually more like what the G-Line is like.

Hi Ben , Love your work and am considering having a mtb kit from you soon . One thing I’m slightly confused by though is on your YT video , riding your bike in Arran , you have a banner running below that says “MTB optimized adjustable geometry ” ….would you mind explaining how the geometry is adjustable because from the limited photos I’ve seen I can’t understand what the “banner” relates to ? Much appreciated , Bill in Exeter.
I’ve been experimenting with a thin spacer instead of the rear suspension elastomer – this drops the bottom bracket height down, and give slacker angles which feel really good off road, at the expense of losing the rear suspension. But with fat tyres, that’s not really important.
