The Multicharger from Riese & Müller is an electric cargo bike that doesn’t really look like a cargo bike – it’s only a little longer than their Charger electric bikes, and has the same suspension and MTB-like riding characteristics, but it has beefy front and rear racks, able to carry lots of luggage, a couple of children, or even an adult passenger.

The Multicharger can have a larger 750Wh battery for extra range, and there’s also a Mixte version with easy step-through frame.

The Multicharger starts from £4905, the R&M website has lots more info and a configurator – I’ve got demonstrators of both the Multicharger GT 750 and the Multicharger Mixte in the shop to try out.
