The Scorpion fx from HPVelotechnik is built for touring – with its slightly higher seat, there’s room for a double rear rack with lowrider, to carry four panniers.
The fx has rear suspension, 20″ wheels, and a quick folding frame – take off the seat and fold the mainframe in 60 seconds, to make it small enough for the back of a car, or spend another 90 seconds taking off the wheels and folding the handlebars, and it ends up as a very compact package for travel.
